Beginners Felt Making Course

This course will explain the basics of Felt making and give you something wonderful to take home!

Make a felt scarf or felt wrap

Nuno and Cobweb felt techniques can be applied to make yourself a beautiful scarf or wrap, I have plenty of materials to make something interesting and unusual.

Nuno Felt

Nuno felt is a procedure of integrating felt with a fabric which makes it strong enough to be used as a sheer lightweight fabric in its own right.

Cobweb Felt

As its name suggests, cobweb felt is a very fine, almost gauzy felt which can be used for sheer scarves, wall hangings and artwork.

Felt Flowers

Any flowers can be made either to adorn a bag, a scarf or as jewellery or just on their own!.our imagination is the only limit!

Felt Vessel

3D felt vases which can be used either just decoratively or as a useful pot for keeping jewellery etc inside.

We currently offer a beginners course for beadwork and wirework, which introduces a variety of jewellery making techniques.

We currently offer a one day beginners course to introduce basic rag rug making.

Jenny and Alison taught together at South Trafford College and forged a great friendship and working relationship.

These classes will be taught by both Jenny and Alison who bring their different skills together to provide some interesting and different courses.

We run regular craft courses throughout the year.
